National Highway 001, linking Port Moresby—through Kairuku-Hiri, Bereina, and Apanaipi—to Malalaua in Gulf Province; forms a critical southern corridor to Kerema.

Sogeri Road
ogeri Road begins at the 9‑Mile roundabout on Sir Hubert Murray Highway (adjacent to Port Moresby), and climbs approximately 46 km to Sogeri town on the plateau (~500 m elevation).
